چکیده
In article number 2100154, Jun Xu, Adam Procopio, and co-workers have demonstrated a 5 min clinically translatable sonoporation procedure using FDA-approved microbubbles commercially available diagnostic ultrasound enabled the systemic delivery of CDN-based STING agonist MSA-1 regressed both unilaterally bilaterally inoculated syngeneic tumors as result improved PK/PD immune modulation.

The STING agonist DMXAA triggers a cooperation between T lymphocytes and myeloid cells that leads to tumor regression
Regressing tumors are usually associated with a large immune infiltrate, but the molecular and cellular interactions that govern a successful anti-tumor immunity remain elusive. Here, we have triggered type I Interferon (IFN) signaling in a breast tumor model (MMTV-PyMT) using 5,6-dimethylxanthenone-4-acetic acid (DMXAA), a ligand of the STimulator of Interferon Genes, STING. The 2 main events ...

T-cell based immunotherapy is an attractive approach for the treatment of multiple tumor types including cervical carcinoma. Immunostimulating DNA containing unmethylated cytosine-guanine (CpG) motifs have been successfully used as adjuvants to enhance immune responses to vaccines designed to trigger antitumor T-cell responses. Using a murine model of cervical carcinoma, we report here that rep...
متن کاملProtective role of STING against gliomagenesis: Rational use of STING agonist in anti-glioma immunotherapy.
We recently reported that STING contributes to antiglioma immunity by triggering type I IFN induction in glioma microenvironment. Moreover, intratumoral administration of STING agonist improved the efficacy of peptide vaccination in a mouse glioma model, suggesting the rational use of STING agonists in the immunotherapy of brain tumor.
متن کاملAntitumor activity of a novel small molecule TLR7 agonist via immune response induction and tumor microenvironment modulation.
Immunotherapy is emerging as a powerful and active tumor-specific approach against cancer via triggering the immune system. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are fundamental elements of the immune system, which facilitate our understanding of the innate and adaptive immune pathways. TLR agonists used as single agents can effectively eradicate tumors due to their potent stimulation of innate and adapti...
